The Upgrade Suitability Assessment

The Upgrade Suitability Assessment

A 2-Day Assessment designed to assess your current NAV implementation and establish if the existing solution can be upgraded to Business Central, including consideration of all existing developments being migrated as Business Central extensions.

This package is suitable for you if you’re using an older or very bespoke version of NAV and would like to measure if your organisation is eligible for a Business Central solution.

The Process?

A 3-Stage Review, led by QUANTIQ, which includes:

  • 2-hour call with our Consultant to review the usage of the system at a very high level
  • Full-day Technical Review of software and developments
  • An in-depth Upgrade Suitability Analysis document including:
    • Detail of the objects which have been modified in the existing NAV implementation
    • Which developments are
      • Suitable for migration to Extensions
      • Would need to be redesigned in order to work
    • Recommendation on which product the client should upgrade to (Business Central (cloud), Business Central (On Premise), NAV 2018)
    • License comparison between existing and recommended product

During this process, one of our Consultants measures your current NAV system as well as a high-level review your unique organisational usage of the system. Our Consultant will share their findings with one of our Developers to create a complete picture of your current NAV system, including all developments, before conducting a thorough Technical Review to measure the suitability for your developments to migrate as Business Central Extensions. The Upgrade Assessment Package

A 5-Day Assessment designed to fully evaluate your current NAV solution, with any and all existing developments, capturing what the process would look like for your organisation to upgrade to Business Central, including key considerations and functionality / process migration recommendations.

This package is suitable for you if you want to capture exactly what a move to the cloud would look like for your organisation with specific consultation around your unique functionality and process requirements.

The Process?

  • Onsite functional processes
  • Custom functionality & developments measuring the suitability for Extensions & cloud deployment
