Dynamics 365 for Outlook is a superb way to give you background information about the people you’re talking to via email, or the meetings that you have coming up with different people.
The software works by pulling together emails, appointments, and Dynamics 365 records. It creates connections between these records, helping you to get a holistic view of the contact that’s just emailed.

Dynamics 365 for Outlook works with every version of Outlook: in your browser, on your phone, or on your regular PC. It automatically scans the content of the email you’re currently looking at, and loads data from Dynamics 365 on the side.

You can also do better business, because you’re connected to a wealth of additional data every time you get in touch, and that helps you to progress projects more efficiently. If a relationship between a contact and a record doesn’t already exist, you can create it yourself. Dynamics 365 for Outlook allows you to set up a link between an email contact and an appointment in your calendar, or link an email and a record in Dynamics 365.
It also allows you to create templates for emails that you send frequently, and link to knowledgebase articles that answer your correspondent’s questions.
All of this extra functionality puts you fully in the driving seat; the information you have at your fingertips is always the information you really need to see.
